Percent Yield?
Does anyone know how to find the theoretical and percent yield? or what she actually asked for?

I answered that usually there is no direct way to determine the molecular formula of a substance from its percent composition. This is shown in C2H4, where it technically have the same percentage composition as C4H8 but still is a different molecule with diffrent properties. However, for some molecules such as water, a substance H4O2 does not exist, so the percentage composition would be able to be used to determine the molecular formula.
